Jaela Kennedy is a 3rd year Law & Society major with minors in Criminal justice and Communications, complemented by a certificate in paralegal studies. Jaela's time at UC has been marked by active involvement and dedicated leadership. She has served as the President of the National Residence Hall Honorary and President of the Council of Cultural Leaders. She serves as the Vice president’s Chief of staff and Student government mentorship program manager for Undergraduate Student Government. Beyond these roles, she is an Arts & Sciences Ambassador and a Roar Guide for the Office of Admissions. She is in the University honors program and is a member of Mortar board honorary, Lambda Society and is the President of the Cincinnatus Honorary. She is a proud member of the National Society of leadership and success. 

Get to Know Deron Maina

Deron Maina is a 3rd year Neuroscience major with a minor in Psychology. Throughout his academic journey, he has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in various capacities. Engaging actively in Student Government, he has assumed the roles of the director of off campus- housing and the chair of the campus life committee. He has contributed to community service as the Vice President of Bearcat Food Recovery Network.Deron's involvement extends to furthering education through his role as a Learning Assistant through the Learning Commons,  mentorship programs, including SGMP, and participation in an esteemed honorary like Cincinnatus. His exceptional academic performance has earned him a place on the Dean's List and recognition through the Mary Jane Toepfer Memorial Award.
